Using SafariCharge
Terms of service
These terms describe the rules and responsibilities that apply when you access SafariCharge.

1. Accepting these terms
By accessing or using SafariCharge, you agree to these terms. If you use SafariCharge for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that organization.
2. The service
SafariCharge provides tools for early-stage planning of solar, battery storage, site energy demand, EV charging, and supplier procurement via our Exchange Portal. Features may include simulations, comparisons, reports, proposals, RFQ generation, secure file sharing, exports, and AI-assisted explanations. We may improve, change, limit, or discontinue features as the service develops.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Workspaces are scoped to your organization. By signing up with a corporate domain, you may be automatically grouped with coworkers in the same organization. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for controlling access within your organization.
4. Your data and permitted use
You retain responsibility for information you submit, including uploaded files (which are subject to automated malware scanning) and RFQ specifications. You give SafariCharge permission to process it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You must have the right to submit that information and must not use the service unlawfully, disrupt it, probe it without authorization, or attempt to access another user's data.
5. Supplier Exchange and procurement
Our Supplier Exchange Portal facilitates the sharing of RFQs and the collection of supplier bids. SafariCharge does not vet external suppliers, nor do we guarantee the accuracy, validity, or fulfillment of any bid submitted through the platform. Any commercial agreements or contracts formed between buyers and suppliers take place strictly outside of SafariCharge, and we bear no liability for procurement outcomes.
6. Engineering and commercial decisions
SafariCharge outputs are planning estimates based on the information and assumptions entered. They are not a final electrical design, safety certification, financial guarantee, or substitute for a site survey and review by qualified professionals. You are responsible for validating equipment, tariffs, site conditions, local standards, permits, and investment decisions.
7. Availability and third-party services
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some features depend on third-party hosting, data, email, authentication, or AI services and may be unavailable or change without notice.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or enforce these terms. You may stop using SafariCharge and request account deletion through Account settings.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, SafariCharge is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by relying on unverified inputs or estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Privacy and changes
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be communicated when reasonably required.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live. Questions can be sent to privacy@safaricharge.com.
